Over the winter months the Tree Trail at Glenwhan Garden near Stranraer has been updated, giving visitors a new perspective on some of the 160 different species that grow in this hillside garden, which enjoys spectacular views over the Solway Firth. With a new map, leaflets and signage, visitors can find more to explore in the 12 acre garden and the 17 acres of moorland walks where, in spring, thousands of bluebells carpet the ground beneath bright yellow gorse flowers.
