Scottish nursery, Binny Plants was amongst the gold medal winners at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show.
The nursery, from Ecclesmachan in West Lothian, wowed the judges with its stunning display of peonies.
The nursery, which is run by Billy Carruthers, is a specialist grower of peonies and offers hundreds of varieties for sale, including more than 30 long-flowering intersectional hybrids, which are a cross between herbaceous and tree peonies.
Billy said: “It took a lot of work, but we were delighted to come home with a gold medal.”
